Lane County Mugshots to Pilot Podcast

The first podcast on Eugene Talk Radio has been announced and is already poised to be a hit.  The ever popular Lane County Mugshots is upping their game by launching a live podcast covering local crime related news and information.

The program will focus on a range of topics with the intent to provide as much factual content and up-to-date information as possible while helping to educate the community according to Michael Weber, founder and chief publicist for Lane County Mugshots.

Lane County Mugshots is known for its daily postings of local arrests and released inmates on its popular Facebook group “Lane County Mugshots Uncensored.”  There, contributors from the public share issues of interest often including events in progress or topics that the community is passionate about.

Weber hopes the podcast will help provide a way to keep the community informed while dispelling rumors and speculation that often fill the comment threads in the Facebook group that boasts over 50,000 members.

LCM will soft launch the podcast in the the form of mini-episodes during the coming weeks while experimenting with format and ironing out technical bugs.  After a successful pilot period, the show will go mainstream on a regular schedule.
